Prop Stylist

Cameron Renfrow

Hi! I'm Cameron Renfrow, a Stylist and Creative in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. I offer an array of design services in both residential and production, including: showroom design, visual merchandising, prop styling & set design, interiors, and even reselling vintage finds.  I've been in the industry for over 10 years. I started assisting my dad, who is a Furniture Refinisher, in high school where I was really introduced to the world of design. There I would shadow designers and assist them on their installations and shopping trips. I went to school for Residential Design the following year and started working at a furniture consignment showroom once I moved back home. I worked there for years designing the showroom and overseeing sales. Once that was over, I put all my energy into freelancing. About a year later I became a Design Assistant on a couple of TV Shows where I really found my passion of styling and realized where I needed to be. Though I still enjoy residential projects,

I especially love prop styling and production design.

Storytelling is a passion of mine that is reflected through my designs and vintage finds. I pull my inspiration from nature and present it in a fresh and modern way, while still creating warmth and depth. I want my work to be as organic and sustainable as it can be, which is why I shop secondhand for a lot of my one-of-a-kind pieces. I feel that these items really elevate a story of a space by adding age and character. I also am inspired by the many talents in my community, some featured in my 'Curated Home Tour Blog'. You don't have to spend a tremendous amount of money or have a degree to create a space that you love and that's  what I aim to teach through the home tours.
